WE NURTURE LIFELONG LOVE RESPECT AND APPRECIATION FOR THE BULGARIAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE THROUGH A GREAT CURRICULUM AND PROGRAMS. WE PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH EVERYONE FEELS WELCOME RESPECTED TRUSTED AND AN IMPORTANT PART OF BECC AND ITS MISSION.

THE ACADEMIC PROGRAM FOLLOWS STRICT CURRICULUM PROVIDED BY THE BULGARIAN MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES. THERE WERE 152 CHILDREN REGISTERED AT THE END OF 2025. IN ORDER TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE EACH LEVEL THE STUDENTS MUST PASS THE TESTS IN BULGARIAN LANGUAGE LITERATURE HISTORY AND GEOGRAPHY FOR EACH GRADE. THE SCHOOL HAS FOURTEEN GRADES INCLUDING PRESCHOOL. HIGHLY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL EDUCATORS TEACH IN EACH GRADE. WE ALSO INVITE GUEST LECTURERS TO GIVE LECTURES ON VARIOUS TOPICS RELATED TO THE BULGARIAN LANGUAGE HISTORY AND CULTURE. THE SCHOOL ALSO OFFERS 2 CLASSES IN BULGARIAN AS A SECOND LANGUAGE FOR CHILDREN AGES 7-12 AND AGES 13-17 A CLASS FOR ADULTS AND A CLASS FOR PREPARATION OF HIGH SCHOOLERS FOR THE SEAL OF BILITERACY EXAM. CLASSES TAKE PLACE EACH SATURDAY FROM 1:30PM TO 4:45PM. THE SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS ON THE FIRST SATURDAY OF SEPTEMBER AND ENDS IN THE LAST WEEK OF MAY.
