During fiscal year 2024, LAD continued to provide services primarily for eviction prevention/housing preservation comprehensive services for Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and criminal record expungement which remove barriers to housing and employment opportunities. LAD staff handled more than 1600 cases for clients. We held outreach clinics in all 3 counties providing onsite intake and advice for new clients. We received grants to support our expungement services and partnered with a community agency in an expungement fair where more than 100 attendees were served. Our grants for Right to Counsel and Legal Services for Veterans were renewed and increased so that we can increase the number of clients we can serve.
