Since 1929, a cornerstone of the Kalamazoo community, and recognized as one of the preeminent community theatres in the country, the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre produces quality artistic enrichment opportunities in three versatile venues. With a full-time resident design and technical staff, as well as interns, guest artists and volunteers, the Civic produces 12 productions each season and offers hundreds of classes, camps and workshops, including a robust outreach program where artistic educational experiences are offered to youth in underserved communities at no cost to participants.
