The Traffic Squad Fund Inc supports the Kent County Sheriff's Department by raising community awareness and by providing mechanisms to procure funding for department programs. The Fund operates and maintains a multi-purpose equestrian facility which serves the Kent County Sheriff Department's Mounted Division, as well as several local 4H clubs and social service youth organizations. Therapeutic equestrian interaction for disabled children is also provided. Other programs include a K-9 Unit, Distracted Driver Program, Coin with Pride/Challenge Coins, and National Night Out.
