Of the 233 housing discrimination complaints, 53 involved allegations of disability discrimination, 5 national origin discrimination, and 7 source of income discrimination. As in other years, a high percentage of persons served by the Center are of low- or moderate-income LMI. A total of 71 of the discrimination complaints were submitted by Black or African American complainants. The Center never charges any complainant for complaint intake, investigation, fair housing testing, enforcement proceedings and resolution.

Training - The Fair Housing Center expanded its fair housing training to the public, as well as to management companies, property owners, realtors, industry groups, and municipalities. The Center conducted a total of 64 fair housing training, education, and webinar events - its highest total ever. At the national level, the executive director of the Center presented in HUDs three-day 2024 FHIP Grants Management Approaches and Financial management Training Seminar in New Orleans, LA, in August 2024. The director of the Center also trained and presented before the Community Relations Division of the City of Salina, KS, the Human Relations Commission of Evansville-Vanderburg, IL, the Maine Human Rights Division, and the University of Illinois Chicago UIC John Marshall Law School.
