Interpreting services are provided for the deaf and hearing- impaired. Employees or independent contractors may be used when clients request someone to "sign" for an individual that is either deaf, or hearing impaired. Clients are charged a fee for the service. Standard rates are used from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with higher rates being used before and after. Independent contractors are paid for their services and also receive mileage reimbursement.
