THE CITIZENS MEDIATION SERVICE, INC. PROVIDED LOW-COST / NO COST MEDIATION SERVICES. THE AGENCY CONDUCTED MEDIATIONS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: COURT ACTIONS (DISTRICT, CIVIL, FAMILY, JUVENILE, PROBATE); SPECIAL EDUCATION ISSUES, CIVIL RIGHTS COMPLAINTS, BUSINESS DISPUTES, AND PROPERTY ISSUES. A LARGE PROPORTION OF CLIENTS HAD THEIR MEDIATION FEES WAIVED WHO FELL BELOW FEDERAL INCOME GUIDELINES. TRAINED VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF PROVIDED THESE MEDIATION SESSIONS AT GREAT SAVINGS IN TIME AND DOLLARS TO THE COURT SYSTEM AND TO FAMILIES IN AN ONLINE/VIRTUAL FORMAT.
