Delivered 100 suicide prevention trainings and hosted suicide awareness events to over 16,000 people. These events were held throughout the state of Michigan training healthcare providers, students, educators, first responders and the community at large. The Network answered over 500 calls to assist the callers in navigating resources for mental health care or in support of their grief. Our postvention activities included bi-monthly survivors of suicide loss support group meetings, LOSS (local outreach for survivors of suicide) phone support, debriefing following a suicide in a workplace/school and hosting an annual event "Hope Starts Here" supporting over 2,000 survivors of suicide loss in 2023.
