Community Living Services is authorized by community mental health (CMH) or the area agency on aging (AAA) in the 13 counties served by RLLS' staff, consumers were provided in home and community daily living supports for all aspects of clients' lives. This included daily chores and routines, bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, medication, housework, laundry, meal preparation, clinical programs, toileting, eating, community activities, skill building (such as socialization, behavioral tasks, daily living tasks, health and safety, community inclusion, etc.), medical needs including transport to medical and dental appointments, assistance with daily medical care, financial management, budgeting, shopping, organizing, transportation, and general supervision. Home Help Services provides assisting functionally challenged individuals in completing in home tasks and chores including bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, medication, housework, laundry, meal preparation, range of motion, toileting, and eating. Private Pay Services provides housekeeping, meals, grocery shopping, personal care medication reminders, appointments, errands, other tasks, chores, and assistance as requested. The Supportive Services Program includes the following categories of program support: Community Living Support Services, Children's Waiver and Respite Services, Home Help Services, and Senior Care Services. In the fiscal year ended September 30, 2024, 190 consumers were provided assisted living services as described above in 13 Michigan counties, including Kent, Grand Traverse, Marquette, Antrim, Ottawa, Allegan, Manistee, Mason, Missaukee, Osceola, Lake, Barry, and Wexford.
