We also discovered the Texas Department of Public Safety's License Division was applying a two-year license suspensions for Driving While License Invalid (DWLI) convictions after the Texas State Legislature amended the suspension to 90 days. We were able to secure rectification from DPS's General Counsel and the License Division.* We participated in a coalition working to repeal the Failure to Appear/Failure to Pay Program across Texas.
