This program delivers 1 book to every registered child ages 0-5 each month. These books are paid for by Allegan County United Way and are free to the participating families. The object of this program is to increase literacy activities including reading and talking about books and to support positive parenting with an emphasis on reading in families. The average enrollment for this year is 2,922 per month which brings 35,065 books to children within the county annually.
