NUTRITION PROGRAM Provides hot, nutritious meals (Congregate and Home Delivered) for persons aged 60 and over. Promotes physical health, nutrition counseling and education, and additional health support for aging. In 2023, 50,717 meals were served to our Congregate and Home Delivered clients.

TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM: Provides transportation via bus, van, and private auto for medical, social, nutritional, employment, and personal business. Many elderly clients are frail and require private auto escort and/or wheelchair-lift assistance to access Agency vans and buses. In 2023, the Agency provided 4,579 passenger trips of which 1,291 were for medical appointments (694 for frail elderly requiring private auto transport). The remaining rides were for nutrition, employment, education, and social/recreation.

LEGAL AND BENEFIT COUNSELING: Provides support to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's Disease and related dementia, including grants to affected individuals and families. Programs include Alzheimer's Family Caregiver Support, Outreach, Information and Assistance, Respite Care, and necessary supplies and services. In 2023, 27 clients received full or partial grants totaling $37,360 via Alzheimer's/Family Caregiver Support Programs. About 295 individuals were assisted with Homestead Tax, Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, SeniorCare, prescription medication, and consumer issues.
