Catholic Charities Bureau Affiliates are organized to maintain, operate and conduct; directly or indirectly; as well as to assist and coordinate activities and Social Services in accordance with the charitable Works and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. Enterprises were specifically created to support individuals with disabilities with hands-on work opportunities at a pace and expectation level that meets the individual's current abilities while also providing a safe environment to focus on community workplace readiness. Within the facility, 28 participants received 23,857 hours of pre-vocational services to pursue their individual's prevocational goals toward future community employment, while earning $119,744. DSI also provides a community based pre-vocational training program focusing on preparing individuals with disabilities to work in community integrated employment. DSI also has Community Day services which teaches self-advocacy, daily living skills and skill development. In 2025, 29 individuals participated in these programs providing 11,777 hours of service to individuals with disabilities.
