IN BRAZIL, $32,000 SUPPORTED FLOOD RECOVERY, INCLUDING SHELTER SUPPLIES FOR 550 STUDENTS. IN UKRAINE, $150,000 AIDED FOOD SECURITY FOR 464 FARMERS THROUGH THE DISTRIBUTION OF AGRICULTURAL TOOLS. IN THE CARIBBEAN, WFCU CONTRIBUTED $5,000 TO SUPPORT CREDIT UNIONS RECOVERING FROM HURRICANE BERYL.

GLOBAL WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP NETWORK:CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF EMPOWERING WOMEN IN THE CREDIT UNION MOVEMENT, GWLN SUPPORTED 760 INDIVIDUALS THROUGH EMPOWERMENT GRANTS AND AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO FOUR WOMEN FROM ESWATINI, KENYA, THE PHILIPPINES, AND THE UNITED STATES. GRANTS IN KENYA AND MONGOLIA DIRECTLY IMPROVED FINANCIAL INCLUSION AND WOMEN'S LIVELIHOODS IMPACTING OVER 700 DAIRY FARMERS IN KENYA AND ATTRACTING OVER 2,500 USERS TO A SUSTAINABLE FINANCE MARKETPLACE IN MONGOLIA. OVER 4,000 PEOPLE ENGAGED THROUGH SISTER SOCIETIES IN 30 COUNTRIES, EXPANDING THE NETWORK'S GLOBAL FOOTPRINT.
