Annual Meeting and Conferences: The 2024 AAN Annual Meeting, which took place over six days in Denver and online to accommodate member needs, drew 14,063 attendees. This award-winning meeting was rated good or excellent by 94% of attendees. On-demand content remained available for all conferences, allowing the AANI to reach learners on a global level as well as providing continued access to meeting content throughout the year. The value of these on-demand offerings has been appreciated by the members and supports the mission of the Academy. The AANI held a Summer Conference in Atlanta and online focused on Autoimmune Neurology that drew more than 800 registrants. An impressive 99% of attendees rated the conference good or excellent. More than 1,000 registrants took part in the hybrid Fall Conference, held in Las Vegas, which included a pre-conference for advanced practice providers.

Training / Tools / Resources (AANI): The AANI continues to address areas of controversy and importance in its evidence-based guidelines program. In 2024, it advanced work on 10 guideline development projects and initiated three new ones on gene therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, antiseizure medication blood levels during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and essential tremors. The AANI continued to focus on various resources that help members provide optimal care for their patients. It published the guideline "Teratogenesis, Perinatal, and Neurodevelopmental Outcomes After In Utero Exposure to Antiseizure Medication" in collaboration with two medical societies.

Continuing Medical Education Programs: The AANI is accredited for the 2023-2026 reaccreditation cycle by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. It released six classic editions of NeuroSAE(R), as well as two subspecialty editions focused on Epilepsy and Neuromuscular; released eight new NeuroPanels, case-based live panel discussions that garnered a 98% satisfaction rate; and added 28 new videos for medical students to its NeuroBytes library.
