HEAD START PROGRAM SEEKS TO ASSIST CHILDREN IN ACHIEVING APPROPRIATE DEVELOPMENTAL GROWTH, INCREASING SELF-CONFIDENCE, GOOD HEALTH, AND TO IMPROVE AND EXPAND EACH CHILD'S ABILITY TO THINK, REASON, AND COMMUNICATE WITH OTHERS. HEAD START ALSO SEEKS TO ASSIST PARENTS AND FAMILIES IN IMPROVING THEIR PARENTING SKILLS, BEING SELF-SUFFICIENT, AND BETTERING THE CONDITIONS IN WHICH THEY LIVE, LEARN, AND WORK. 240 CONSTITUENTS SERVED.
