The program focuses on the "holistic" approach to recovery for both issues with the goal of re-integration as a productive member of society. Through this approach, patients are better able to develop coping strategies, awareness of self and deduction risk for relapse with substances. Some of the program services that support this approach are mental health referrals, meditation, relapse prevention, life-building skills, and barriers to recovery. In 2024, the very first mental health professional was hired versus contracting all of such services. House of Hope, Inc. also added a new program providing substance use disorder treatment services in the County Jail system.
