EDUCATION/INSTRUCTIONAL - LAKE COUNTRY SCHOOL -MONTESSORI LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS IS A MINNESOTA NON-PROFIT INDEPENDENT SCHOOL, FULLY ACCREDITED BY THE INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION OF THE CENTRAL STATES (ISACS), AS WELL AS MEMBERS OF THE MINNESOTA ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS (MAIS). LOCATED IN SOUTH MINNEAPOLIS LAKE COUNTRY SCHOOL WAS INCORPORATED ON JULY 28TH 1976 AND STRIVES TO BE THE EXEMPLAR OF A MONTESSORI LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR ITS 280+ STUDENTS, AGES 3-14 YEARS. LAKE COUNTRY SCHOOL WAS THE FIRST MONTESSORI SCHOOL IN MINNESOTA TO OFFER A MONTESSORI EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS FROM AGES 9-14.
