The ISO receives around 17,500 phone calls and emails a year asking for help. The ISO also processes over 6,200 literature orders for educational recovery literature. The ISO is a growing fellowship whose mission is to provide support for recovery meetings by initiating outreach programs on a global scale.

The ISO provides a prisoner outreach program which is focused on helping those incarcerated work our Twelve Step program while in prison. The ISO accomplishes this by sending educational material to those incarcerated. The ISO helps provide members from our fellowship who correspond to those incarcerated and help them work through our Twelve Step program. The ISO processes over 100 letters each month from those incarcerated and sends out free educational material when requested from the person incarcerated.
