Transforming Lives Through Movement. Young Dance encourages youth in our community to build body and spirit through the creative art of dance. Young Dance Classes - Young Dance offered approximately 30 weekly classes September-May at our studios including Dance Together Dancing with Baby Creative Movement Levels 1-3 Modern Levels 1-4 Adult Modern Ballet Levels 1-3,Hip Hop Levels 1-3 Breaking Levels 1-3 Musical Theater and All Abilities Dancing Levels 1-2. We also offered 1 All Abilities Dancing Online class. Our season culminated with a performance of each class in May. Summer session includes 5 weeks of camps for Creative Movement Variety Dance and specialty focused camps which dive deeply into one area of dance. Summer also includes weekly classes in Creative Movement Family Dance and All Abilities Dancing. Individuals with disabilities are welcome into any of our classes. In 2024-25 our classes served students from infancy through adulthood reaching a total of 462 participants.

They worked with 3 additional guest artists. They presented work at the Walker Art Center Minneapolis Institute of Arts Modern Dance Project Franconia Sculpture Park and a season culminating concert at the Luminary Arts Center.

Community Partnerships - A vital part of our programming are community partnerships that happen with schools and community organizations bringing dance to people who otherwise cannot access our programming. We offered extended programs lasting multiple weeks with Ramsey County Juvenile Corrections Minneapolis and St. Paul schools Interact Center for the Arts and Midwest Special Services. We offered 1 time programs at the Minnesota Orchestra and St. Paul Public Libraries. Our Community Partnerships served 4888 participants.
