The Green Bandana Project is a suicide prevention program in which high school and college students are trained to refer their at-risk peers to available mental health and suicide prevention resources. After a short orientation and basic suicide prevention training, student participants display a lime-green bandana on their backpack, bag, or clothing, signifying they have pledged to be a safe, knowledgeable individual to approach for information on mental health and suicide prevention resources. The Green Bandana Project has chapters at 60 colleges and 13 high schools.

SAVE maintains a set of educational resources available to organizations and individuals nationwide. In 2024, SAVE concluded redevelopment and updates to these resources, and compiled them into 2 sets for distribution: grief support materials and suicide prevention educational resources. SAVE distributed free educational materials through community events and direct requests and responded to more than 30 requests for printed suicide prevention information for other organizations. SAVE also shared these materials free-of-charge at more than 20 events and launched the education packet on a new website which had over 10,000 views in 2024. Thousands of resource documents were provided for individuals, mental health fairs, and organizations.

IBEAM (Ideal Body, Environment, and Mind) is a suicide prevention program for the construction industry developed by SAVE in partnership with WTW. Traditionally, construction industry risk control efforts have focused entirely on physical loss. IBEAM works to change that, offering virtual education or training at all levels of the workforce, enhancing core competencies related to mental health and suicide prevention. In 2024, SAVE continued working on this comprehensive suicide prevention program for the construction industry by launching 2 new tiers of content aimed at specific audiences: IBEAM Executive and IBEAM Workforce.
