FY23 FACTS: MORE THAN 30,000 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN A LOPPET EVENT.THE LOPPET HOSTED THE 2024 STIFEL LOPPET CUP THAT BROUGHT THE WORLDS BEST CROSS COUNTRY SKIERS TO WIRTH PARK AND HAD 40,000 SPECTATORS OVER THE COURSE OF THE WEEKEND- MORE THAN 2,500 VOLUNTEERS GAVE THEIR TIME AND TALENTS TO HELP MAKE LOPPET EVENTS POSSIBLE.LOPPET SPORT:LOPPET SPORT PROVIDES YEAR-ROUND OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS AGES 7 TO 107 TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL IN THE OUTDOORSFY23 FACTS:- LOPPET SKI LESSON INSTRUCTORS PROVIDED LESSONS TO MORE THAN 3600 ADVENTURERS OF ALL AGES.- MORE THAN 1,500 KIDS MOUNTAIN-BIKED, SKIED, RAN, PADDLED AND ORIENTEERED IN THE TRAIL KIDS PROGRAM, EMPOWERING YOUTH THROUGH NEW EXPERIENCES AND CHALLENGES- LOPPET CYCLE WORKS (LCW) SERVED 300 YOUTH AND ADULTS IN BEGINNER TO ADVANCED MOUNTAINBIKINGLOPPET SPORT ADDED PADDLING AND OUTDOOR ART PROGRAMS TO OFFER ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN THE OUTDOORSTRAILS AND RECREATION:THE LOPPET FOUNDATION'S TRAILS AND RECREATION TEAM PARTNERS WITH THE MINNEAPOLIS PARK AND RECREATION BOARD TO CREATE, IMPROVE, AND OPERATE WORLD-CLASS FACILITIES FOR OUTDOOR RECREATION.FY23 FACTS:- BETWEEN 22-23 AND 23-24 WINTERS, OVER 15,500 ANNUAL SKI PASSES WERE SOLD- LOPPET EXPANDED SKI INSTRUCTIONAL AREAS AND TRAIL LIGHTING
