Twin Cities R!SE's Workforce Development serves resilient participants overcoming significant employment hurdles through an evidence informed model combining workforce training, transformational Personal Empowerment, individualized coaching, employer connections, and post placement support. Participants begin in an intensive 8 week cohort integrating career readiness, emotional intelligence, and key workplace skills like problem-solving. Coaching continues for a year to support job retention. In FY2025 the program served 650 participants, a 19% increase, and achieved a record 210 employment outcomes, a 36% rise.During FY25, Twin Cities R!SE launched a pilot of its Empowered Re-Entry Training (ERT) program, a ten-week workforce and personal development initiative delivered inside correctional facilities for individuals preparing to return to the community. The program combines our Personal Empowerment, career readiness, and employment pathway planning targeting fair chance employers. The pilot cohort at the Shakopee Women's Correctional Facility served 13 women and achieved a 92% completion rate, with participants reporting increased self-esteem, confidence, personal growth, and readiness for reintegration into the workforce.

Through its Empowerment Institute, Twin Cities R!SE delivers its signature Personal Empowerment curriculum to Workforce Development participants and partner organizations. The curriculum builds emotional intelligence, self-worth, personal responsibility, and relationship skills essential for long term career and organizational success. Participants report deep transformations in their personal lives and workplaces. In FY2025 the Empowerment Institute served 2170 people across 52 nonprofit, civic, and corporate organizations to strengthen teamwork, communication, and outcomes for their own participants and staff.
