CENTER FOR HMONG ARTS AND TALENT HAD A BUSY 2024. STARTING IN MAY, CHAT ORGANIZED AN ASIAN AMERICAN FESTIVAL IN MICHIGAN TO CELEBRATE ASIAN AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH IN MAY. CHAT HAS OVER 8,000 PEOPLE ATTEND THE EVENT WITH VIETNAMESE, LAO, THAI, CHINESE, EAST INDIAN, BENGALI, CAMBODIAN AND HMONG DANCERS AND ARTISTS SHARING THEIR CULTURE THROUGH DANCE, DRUM, MUSIC, AND SINGING. CHAT ALSO ORGANIZED THE INTERNATIONAL HMONG FASHION WITH DESIGNERS FROM LAOS, THAILAND AND VIETNAM IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2024. CHAT HELD THEIR ANNUAL FRESH TRADITIONS FASHION SHOW AT THE ST. PAUL RIVERCENTRE AGAIN WITH OVER 10 DESIGNERS FROM MINNESOTA, WISCONSIN AND CALIFORNIA. CHAT WAS ABLE TO SPONSOR THE LEGENDARY HMONG SINGER LUJ YAJ FROM THAILAND FOR A 5 MONTH SUCCESSFUL CONCERT TOUR. CHAT WAS ABLE TO HELP, ASSIST AND WORK WITH OVER 500 HMONG ARTISTS IN 2024 AND HAD A TOTAL AGGREGATE LIVE AUDIENCE OF 75,000 PEOPLE ATTEND THEIR LIVE EVENTS.
