Outreach: Informed and engaged the public about the Midtown Greenway and our work improving it, via print newsletters, e-newsletters, social media, and responses to public requests. In 2024 we began implementing an outreach project called East Philips Bikemore Project to get more kids and adults in the East Phillips neighborhood to bike more often.

Greening, Cleaning and Public Art: Planted trees, shrubs and native plants in the Greenway. engaged more than 40 businesses in keeping the Greenway clean through our Adopt-A-Greenway Program. Organized the Greenway Glow arts festival, one of the largest arts festivals in Minneapolis. In 2024 we began implementing additional large-scale public art and greening initiatives. Our Cultural Murals Project will install 5 new murals in the Greenway, and we are planning to install 15 new pollinator gardens in the corridor.
Safety and Trail Watch: Engaged volunteers in citizen bike patrols in the Midtown Greenway after dark. Worked with government officials on plans to enhance safety in the Midtown Greenway.
