IN ORDER TO MAKE SOLAR ENERGY ACCESSIBLE RREAL OPERATES A SOLAR ARRAY THAT PROVIDES SOLAR ASSISTANCE FOR ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS ON THE TRIBAL RESERVATION OF THE LEECH LAKE BAND OF OJIBWE. IN ADDITION, RREAL HAS PARTNERED WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY CHAPTERS AND OTHER INCOME QUALIFIED HOUSING DEVELOPERSTO LEAD THE EFFORT OF SECURING SOLAR SYSTEMS FOR NEW HOMEOWNERS THROUGH ITS SOLAR FOR HUMANITY PROGRAM. IN 2025, RREAL LAUNCHED A NEW TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND PROJECT DEVELOPMENT SERVICES PROGRAM TO ASSIST NON-PROFITS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WITH EVALUATION OF SOLAR READINESS, ENGAGEMENT/SELECTION OF SOLAR INSTALLER, RESEARCHING OF FUNDING OPTIONS AND ASSISTANCE WITH GRANT WRITING.
