ON OCTOBER 1, 2020, THE MINNEAPOLIS PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITY (MPHA) DONATED 707 SCATTERED SITE PUBLIC HOUSING UNITS TO COMMUNITY HOUSING RESOURCES (CHR). ON MAY 1, 2021 MPHA DONATED 3 UNITS TO CHR. ON NOVEMBER 22, 2022 CHR EXECUTED A GROUND LEASE AGREEMENT WITH FAMILY HOUSING RESOURCES LP (FHR), FOR FHR TO DEMOLISH 21 EXISTING CHR UNITS AND REDEVELOP MORE UNITS ON THOSE SITES THAT WOULD BE OWNED AND OPERATED BY FHR FOR THE TERM OF THE LEASE. ON MAY 9, 2023 MPHA DONATED 5 ADDITIONAL UNITS TO CHR. AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2025, CHR HAS 694 UNITS WHICH ARE LEASESD TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES AT APPROXIMATELY 30% OF THE FAMILIES ADJUSTED INCOME UNDER THE RULES GOVERNING FEDERAL SECTION 8 PROJECT-BASED HOUSING.
