PINE RIDGE HOMES PROVIDES BOARD AND LODGING CARE FOR 36 DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED ADULTS. SERVICES ARE DEVELOPED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR RECIPIENTS AT A LEVEL WHICH FACILITATE THEIR ABILITY TO BE AS INDEPENDENT AS POSSIBLE SO THEY CAN CONTINUE TO LIVE IN THEIR HOMES AND BE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THEIR COMMUNITY. OUR INDIVIDUALS ARE ASSISTED IN MANY AREAS WHICH INCLUDE: DAILY LIVING SKILLS, COMMUNICATION TRAINING, LEISURE, MONEY MANAGEMENT, AND SOCIALIZATION SKILLS. FAMILIES AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME TO VISIT AT ANY TIME. PINE RIDGE HOMES DSS WORK TO ENHANCE THE RELATIONSHIPS WHICH ENRICH THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE INDIVIDUALS WE SERVE. OUR RECIPIENTS LOVE TO BE INVOLVED IN COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES (SPORTING EVENTS, CONCERTS, ETC.) AND THERE ARE MANY THAT PARTICIPATE IN COMMUNITY EDUCATION EVENTS (DANCES, ACTIVITIES, BOWLING, ETC.). SOME OF OUR RECIPIENTS, ACCOMPANIED BY DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF, HAVE VACATIONED BY PLANE TO FLORIDA, CALIFORNIA, NASHVILLE AND/OR WENT ON OTHER TRIPS BY VAN (ELY, MINNESOTA; SOUTH DAKOTA; MICHIGAN; HAYWARD, WISCONSIN & MALL OF AMERICA, MN), ETC.
