THE PRIMARY PURPOSES OF THE CORPORATION ARE: (1) TO OBTAIN AND DISTRIBUTE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE CONTINUING IMPROVEMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS OFFERED BY THE MVAO COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT, SUCH PROGRAMS TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ACADEMIC EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, ATHLETIC EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, EXTRACURRICULAR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND CULTURAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS; (2) TO PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL, ATHLETIC, EXTRACURRICULAR, AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE GEOGRAPHIC AREA SERVICED BY THE MVAO CSD, AND THE SURROUNDING AREA; (3) TO PROVIDE A CONTINUING ORGANIZATION, OUTSIDE THE PUBLIC SYSTEM, WHICH WILL WORK TO PROVIDE NEW AND IMPROVED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF STUDENTS, TEACHERS, EMPLOYEES AND RESIDENTS OF THE MVAO SCHOOL DISTRICT; (4) TO RECOGNIZE EXCELLENCE AND OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS; (5) TO DEVELOP AND
