Educational programs focused on historic preservation in Norwalk related to our organizational mission. Our "Made in Norwalk: Our Industrial Past Reborn" tour on October 15 2023 addressed the architectural principle of adaptive reuse in the city's surviving factory buildings. The impetus for this event was the loss of a beautiful and historic factory the year prior 3 Quincy Street see our web site. Old factory buildings are regularly threatened in Norwalk a former industrial hub and it is an issue in cities and towns across the state of Connecticut. These programs do not net significant amounts unless there are sponsors. The 2023 program did not have sponsors.
