Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center (RCCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing comprehensive, affordable, and accessible primary health care services to medically underserved populations regardless of ability to pay. During the fiscal year ended 9/30/2024, RCCHC served 17,624 unique patients through 60,652 visits across its 8 service sites in Hertford, Bertie, Northampton, and Washington counties. Provided services included primary medical care, pediatric care, behavioral health, dental services, preventive screenings, chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension), substance use treatment, health education, and enabling services such as translation, transportation assistance, and case management. A sliding fee discount program was offered to uninsured and underinsured individuals based on household size and income, in accordance with federal guidelines.
