RITE CARE AND OTHER LOCAL CHARITABLE EFFORTS - RITE CARE IS A PROGRAM TO ASSIST CHILDREN WHO DEMONSTRATE DEFICIENCIES IN A VARIETY OF COMMUNICATION SKILLS, INCLUDING LANGUAGE COMPREHENSION, LANGUAGE EXPRESSION, PHONOLOGICAL AWARENESS AND PRELITERACY SKILLS. THE FOUNDATION HAS PROGRAMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN IOWA AND ST. AMBROSE UNIVERSITY. IN ADDITION TO THE PROGRAMS THAT SPECIFICALLY BENEFIT CHILDREN, THE ORGANIZATION ALSO FUNDS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS STUDYING TO BECOME SPEECH AND LANGUAGE CLINICIANS.
