THE AUXILIARY HOSTED A CAR SHOW IN JUNE 2018. THE AUXILIARY PROVIDES AN INFANT SLEEP SACK, DESIGNED FOR THE PREVENTION OF SIDS, TO ALL NEWBORNS BORN AT COXHEALTH. IN ADDITION,EACH FAMILY THAT HAS A NEED FOR AN INFANT CAR SEAT RECEIVES ONE. THE CAR SEATS WERE THE FIRST PROGRAM FOR THE AUXILIARY AND CONTINUE TO BE ONE OF THEIR MOST IMPORTANT, ONGOING PROGRAMS. THE CAR SEATS ARE A SPECIAL PURCHASE THAT SAFELY FITS A SMALLER INFANT (TO ACCOMMODATE PREEMIES). FOR FY '18 WHICH ENDED SEPT. 2018 THERE WERE 218 CAR SEATS GIVEN OUT AND 3,419 SLEEP SACKS.
