THESE EVENTS CONSIST OF DAY AT THE ZOO (WITH BREAKFAST, ZOO THEMED GIVEAWAYS, FAMILY PHOTO, AND SAFARI BANDS WHICH MAKE FOR-FEE AMENITIES FREE FOR THEM), SANTA'S EXPRESS (WITH BREAKFAST, CRAFTS, FACE PAINTING, PICTURES WITH SANTA AND MRS. CLAUS, AND TOYLAND WHERE EACH CHILD GETS TO SELECT A TOY OF THEIR CHOICE), HOLIDAY BLOCK LEAVE (AN EVENT AT THE AIRPORT FOR THE 4,500 TO 5,000 MILITARY TRAVELING FOR THE HOLIDAYS). THE USO OF MISSOURI, INC. ALSO PACKS 2,000 THANKSGIVING BASKETS WITH ALL OF THE NEEDED ITEMS FOR THE HOLIDAY DINNER FOR LOCAL MILITARY FAMILIES IN NEED. FORT LEONARD WOOD EVENTS FOR MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES: THE USO OF MISSOURI, INC. HOSTS SEVERAL FUN EVENTS FOR THE MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES. THESE EVENTS CONSIST OF FAMILY GAME NIGHTS, SUPERBOWL PARTY, 4TH OF JULY EVENT, CRAFTING EVENTS, USO NIGHT OUT EVENTS, AND SPOUSE SOCIALS. OVER 248,500 MILITARY MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES WERE OFFERED A "TOUCH OF HOME AND OTHER SERVICES AT THE TWO FACILITIES AT ST. LOUIS LAMBERT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, THE FORT LEONARD WOOD FACILITY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI, AND THE MOBILE USO UNITS, WHICH TRAVELS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF MISSOURI, AND THE ILLINOIS COUNTIES OF JERSEY, MADISON, MONROE, AND ST. CLAIR, TO TAKE THE SERVICES AND USO SPIRIT STRAIGHT TO THE TROOPS.
