LOAVES AND FISHES FOR ST. LOUIS, INC. SERVES THE COMMUNITY BY FOCUSING ON ESSENTIAL SERVICES FOR HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS, AT-RISK POPULATIONS, AND SENIOR CITIZENS. THE AGENCY OFFERS A ROBUST HOMELESS SERVICE PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES A WIDE RANGE OF CRITICAL SERVICES SUCH AS EMERGENCY SHELTER, RENTAL AND UTILITY ASSISTANCE, A FOOD PANTRY, OUTREACH SERVICES, AND COORDINATED ENTRY SERVICES, ALL AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE WEEK. OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE UPLIFTING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES THAT EMPOWER OUR CLIENTS TO BECOME FINANCIALLY SECURE AND HAVE A STABLE HOME. DELIVERING RESULTS: IN OUR RECENT REPORT ON EMERGENCY SHELTER SERVICES, WE SUPPORTED 676 INDIVIDUALS. NOTABLY, 76% OF OUR RESIDENTS TRANSITIONED TO PERMANENT HOUSING WITHIN AN AVERAGE OF 37 DAYS. FURTHERMORE, WE ENSURED THAT 100% OF UNSHELTERED CLIENTS WERE PRESENTED WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO ACCESS HOUSING- FOCUSED PROGRAMS. OUR COORDINATED ENTRY SYSTEM HAS HANDLED 688 UNDUPLICATED CALLS FOR SHELTER SERVICES, RESULTING IN 341 INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES BEING SUCCESSFULLY ENROLLED IN VARIOUS SHELTER PROGRAMS. ADDITIONALLY, OUR OUTREACH EFFORTS HAVE CONNECTED WITH 281 INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN UNSHELTERED ENVIRONMENTS. WE ARE PROUD TO REPORT THAT 100% OF THOSE CONTACTED WERE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO ENROLL IN ESSENTIAL HOUSING PLACEMENT PROGRAMS, WHICH INCLUDE SHELTERS, TREATMENT PROGRAMS, SOBER LIVING FACILITIES, AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES. IN OUR FOOD PANTRY, FIXED-INCOME SENIORS REPRESENT 87% OF OUR CLIENTS. OVER THE PAST YEAR, WE DISTRIBUTED MORE THAN 500,000 MEALS TO OVER 3,000 HOUSEHOLDS, ENSURING FAMILIES RECEIVED VITAL NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT. LASTLY, WE PROVIDED RENTAL AND UTILITY ASSISTANCE TO 100 HOUSEHOLDS TO HELP THEM MAINTAIN THEIR HOMES.
