CONVENTION - ANNUALLY, REGIONAL CONFERENCES, TRAVELING SEMINARS AND THE NATIONAL CONVENTION PROVIDE MEMBERS WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUCATION AND ENJOYMENT. SEMINARS, LECTURES, HANDS ON WORKSHOPS AND EXHIBITS OF DOLLS ARE VITAL ELEMENTS OF UFDC. THE ANNUAL CONVENTION WAS ATTENDED BY 771 ATTENDEES. ATTENDEES WERE OFFERED 5 SPECIAL EXHIBITS FOR THE STUDY OF VARIOUS DOLLS AND DOLL RELATED ITEMS. THERE WERE 13 HANDS ON WORKSHOPS OFFERED WITH 337 ATTENDEES. THE CONVENTION OFFERED 17 SEMINARS WITH 599 ATTENDEES. THERE WERE 15 OPEN PROGRAMS AVAILABLE FOR ALL ATTENDEES AND 15 MEAL EVENTS WITH A PROGRAM AND A DOLL BEING OFFERED. IN ADDITION, FUNDRAISING EVENTS OFFERED WERE BINGO NIGHT WITH 240 ATTENDEES, DANCE EVENT FOR 150 ATTENDEES AND MOVIE NIGHT WITH 100 ATTENDEES. IN ADDITION, 8 TOURS WERE OFFERED TO THE BARRY ART MUSEUM AND COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG WITH 519 ATTENDEES.

UFDC HOSTED TWO ALICE LEVERETT SEWING WORKSHOPS AND ONE JUDY PORTER WORKSHOP WHERE ATTENDEES MADE A DOLL. UFDC HAD AN OPEN HOUSE FOR THE NADDA DEALERS AND ATTENDEES.
