Earn A Bike gives kids the chance to earn a free bicycle after they learn and attend 12 hours of instruction about bicycle safety and maintenance from our volunteers and staff. They learn to work independently and as a group to solve problems. Youth that graduate from the program earn their own bicycle, new helmet, new light set and lock. In 2024, 347 youth graduated from the Earn A Bike class. St. Louis Bicycle Works also features a social enterprise bicycle shop, where anyone can purchase a fully refurbished bike, with the proceeds benefiting the St. Louis BWorks programs.
