Their leadership has a vision of providing the citizenry of the greater Kansas City community with an impeccable year round camping center for spiritual growth, education, relaxation and recreational activities. It is a comprehensive vision that embraces retrearts, seminars, conferences and camping that are nurturing and enriching for children and adults. That goal has been achieved by installing heating and cooling units in the 16 cabins that are on the property. This addition enables children with special needs to utilize the facilities. Palestine missionary Baptist Church of Jesus Christ is the camps primary financial contributor.
