THE BELLES OF THE AMERICAN ROYAL (BOTAR)IS A WOMENS LEADERSHIP ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS THE UNIQUE MISSION OF THE AMERICAN ROYAL AND ITS ROLE IN PROMOTING THE AGRIBUSINESS ECONOMY IN KANSAS CITY AND THE REGION. BOTAR ENCOURAGES CIVIC INVOLVMENT AND DEVELOPS LEADERSHIP SKILLS THROUGH INTER-GENERATIONAL MENTORING AND VOLUNTEERISM. AS A PART OF THEIR SUPPORT OF THE AMERICAN ROYAL, BOTAR MEMBERS PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE AMERICAN ROYAL SCHOLARSHIP AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, VOLUNTEER FOR THE SCHOOL TOURS PROGRAM, AND PROVIDE HOSPITALITY TO AMERICAN ROYAL STUDENT AMBASSADORS.
