We here at Carroll County Memorial Hospital are loyal to our community and will continue to strive for excellence in healthcare. Being part of the community has been an important goal throughout the years, and with your help and loyalty we can continue to provide health services that you can depend on.The Hospital provides financial assistance to patients with limited to no ability to pay for the healthcare services they receive. Patients who qualify for patient financial assistance are given a discount from established charges through the completion of the application for financial assistance based on the most recent published poverty guidelines. The Hospital determines the costs associated with providing patient financial assistance by aggregating the direct and indirect costs, including salaries, benefits, supplies and other operating expenses based on the overall cost-to-charge ratio. The costs of caring for these patients for the year ended Jun 30, 2025 was approximately $356,000.
