The laundromat was opened in 2020 to accomodate an influx of windtower workers with their needs. The idea was to keep these workers from leaving town and supporting other community grocery and hardware stores. This business now operates at a loss, but still serves the community. Lots for RV hookups were obtained and used for Kulms 125th celebration. Several lots are being used for the new health clinic and ambulance building.
