Cultural Music Performance The Harlem Chamber Players Inc., is an ethnically diverse collective of professional classical musicians dedicated to bringing high-caliber, affordable, accessible live music to people in the Harlem community and beyond. The Harlem Chamber Players also promote arts inclusion and equal access to the arts. THCP seeks to help build an audience for live classical music in general, through community and educational outreach, as well as through collaborations with Harlems other arts organizations, schools and cultural institutions. The Harlem Chamber Players bring live music to underserved audiences, promote shared community cultural engagement, and provide opportunities for classically trained musicians of color. The Harlem Chamber Players 2024-2025 season included the following concerts, educational programs, and other appearances: August 24, 2024: Final Fantasy at Town Hall August 30 & 31, 2024: ETHEL & Friends Series at The Met September 27, 2024: Iconic Classics | Season Opening Concert at Broadway Presbyterian Church October 24, 2024: Music by Tania Len, Frederick Tillis, and Trevor Weston at Harlem School of the Arts November 18, 2024: Composers Now | Cheswatyr Commissions Concert at The Forum November 22, 2024: Annual Bach Concert at Miller Theatre at Columbia University December 18, 2024: Wind Quintet Education Program at Brooklyn New School February 1, 2025: Music by Tillis and Montgomery at Newark School of the Arts February 9, 2025 Black History Month Concert at Brooklyn Public Library February 11, 2025 Black History Month Concert at the New York Institute for Special Education February 13, 2025 17th Annual Black History Month Celebration at the Schomburg Center March 21, 2025: Wind Quintet Education Program at PS 036 Margaret Douglas March 24, 2025: 4th Annual Women of the Movements Concert at The Lee C.
