In 2023, Creative Women of the World offered its six module business and financial literacy courses in the United States to the general public, in Ecuador to women who have experienced domestic violence and who have been working in prostitution, and in Zambia to the caregivers of children with disabilities. We trained over 50 vulnerable women around the world, changing their financial futures and that of their children. We also offered a series of business workshops in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to women and creatives. We run a fair-trade store in downtown Fort Wayne that sells products from over 50 countries around the world, as well as products and artwork from local women artists. We held Empower Her World, our annual gala and fundraiser, in April 2023, where we raised approximately $50,000 for our mission.
