The Kind Mouse mouse nibbles & emergency food programs have been combined & have subprograms of baby mouse nibbles, mouse calls & youth outreach. The Kind Mouse feed chronically hungry & food-insecure children. Our volunteers pack and provide healthy snacks weekly to minors identified as food insecure by social workers, therapists, and agencies. 2025 had 10,252 volunteer hours valued at over $338,320 (not included in revenues/expenses) with 91,560 tummies filled. Outreach groups (Mice-In-Training, Mice Interns, Mousevision) are our kids feeding kids. This year-round outreach program for children ages 5-12 is where the children learn about community awareness, have their own boards, run food drives, participate in events, create video productions & learn how to run a nonprofit. they are our future leaders and win awards, recognition & scholarships for their outreach efforts with the Kind Mouse.
