FAMILY CIRCLE OF CARE IS A HEALTH CENTER THAT OPERATES SEVEN MEDICAL CLINICS, ONE DENTAL CLINIC, ONE OPTOMETRY CLINIC, AND A MOBILE MEDICAL CLINIC SERVING THE EAST TEXAS CITIES OF TYLER, ATHENS, AND JACKSONVILLE AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. WE PROVIDE OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY, PEDIATRICS, FAMILY MEDICINE, INTERNAL MEDICINE, MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, DENTAL SERVICES, OPTOMETRY SERVICES, AND SOCIAL SERVICES AND RESOURCE ASSISTANCE, AND HAVE BEEN THE LEADING COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER (ALSO KNOWN AS A FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTER OR FQHC) IN OUR SERVICE AREA SINCE 2013.FCC'S CLINICS ARE IN TRACTS DESIGNATED AS OPPORTUNITY ZONES AND MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED AREAS, WITH LOW MEDIAN HOUSEHOLD INCOMES, HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT RATES, HIGH PERCENTAGES OF POVERTY, LOW PERCENTAGES OF RESIDENTS WITH AN ADVANCED DEGREE, AND HIGH PERCENTAGES OF STUDENTS ELIGIBLE FOR FREE OR REDUCED LUNCH. OUR SEVEN TYLER CLINICS ARE IN NON-RURAL AREAS AND OUR JACKSONVILLE AND ATHENS CLINICS ARE IN RURAL AREAS.MANY OF OUR PATIENTS EXPERIENCE BARRIERS TO HEALTHCARE, AND WE STRIVE TO REDUCE OBSTACLES TO PROVIDE TRAUMA-INFORMED, CULTURALLY COMPETENT, AFFORDABLE, ACCESSIBLE HEALTHCARE FOR ALL.
