Our funds were spent on rehabilitation and rehoming dog. During 2024 we found forever homes for 275 puppies and dogs. They all received extensive medical prior to adoption which included puppy vaccines, adult vaccines, de-worming, treatment for Lyme, Erlichia, and other tickborne diseases as needed, microchips, and spay and neuter surgeries (as the puppy long as the puppy is old enough for spay or neuter prior to adoption.)..(To ensure that adopter of very young puppies get the spay and neuter later, we have them sign a contract and take a deposit that is refundable only after the surgery is done). While in our foster care many have received more extensive procedures such as ACL and FHO surgeries, malignant mass removal, chemo, bilateral ectopic ureter corrective surgery, dental cleaning and dental extractions. hen needed emergency surgery at emergency hospitals have also been performed. Such procedures have included foreign object removal, bladder stone removal, complex dental procedures, orthopedic surgery, undescended testicle surgery, hemolytic anemia treatment, parvo and distemper treatment (isolation and supportive care) and heartworm treatment. Puppies and adult dogs have received training from private and commercial trainers including behavioralists. Mental and physical go hand in hand. The first step in training is to make sure there is no medical cause for the behavior. So, we cover medical and training as needed to best help the puppy or dog in need. We care!

WE DID NOT TURN AWAY ANY DOG DUE TO BREED, AGE OR SITUATION. WE REHOMED A HIGH PERCENTAGE OF BEAGLES AND HOUNDS WHICH ARE OFTEN DISCARDED BY HUNTERS. WE ALSO HELPED PIT BULLS AND OTHER BULLY BREEDS.WE HELPED OWNER SURRENDER DOGS FIND NEW HOMES. WE HELPED KIDS LEARN ABOUT DOGCARE FOR RESCUES AND OTHER DOGS WE HELPED KIDS AND ADULTS GIVE BACK TO THEIR COMMUNITY. WE TRAINED THEM TO BE OF SERVICE. MANY KIDS RECEIVED BOY SCOUT AND GIRL SCOUT AWARDS FOR THEIR SERVICE OR ATTAINED RECOGNITION FROM COMMUNITY AND RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH THEIR HOURS OF SERVICE.
