Community Engagement - A Wider Bridge stands up for our values by creating and defending inclusive spaces where all of our identities are welcomed. We lead proactive campaigns such as Queers Against Antisemitism to mobilize our alum, stakeholders, and grassroots activists. Together they fight bias against the Jewish, LGBTQ, and other communities facing discrimination. AWB campaigns also broaden support for Israel and its LGBTQ community. These approaches engage our existing network and potential activists through programs, social media, and other mechanisms. A Wider Bridge produces an online program series showcasing Jewish, Israeli, and LGBTQ culture through films, literature, and food.

Mission participants are drawn from elected office, media, business, nonprofit management, and faith leadership. They experience the country's history, politics, conflict, and values as a Jewish and democratic state, and to understand the ongoing progress of the Israeli LGBTQ community and its struggles for equality. These missions also provide an opportunity for LGBTQ Americans and Israelis to find shared experiences with each other.
