THESE ACCESSIBLE INITIATIVES HAVE REACHED OVER 2,500 STUDENTS AND 2,000 ADULTS. PROGRAMS INCLUDE SCRUBS CAMP, CAMP MED, TELEHEALTH STUDENT PRACTICUM,AND MEDIC CAMPSIMMERSIVE HEALTH CAREER EXPLORATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR MIDDLE AND HIGHSCHOOL STUDENTS. TO SUPPORT THE CURRENT HEALTHCARE WORKFORCE, NORTHEAST SD AHEC PARTNERS WITH VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS TO HOST THE HEALTH SCHOLARS SYMPOSIUM FOR POST-SECONDARY STUDENTS, ASWELL AS THE EMPOWER ED LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE, EMS WEBINARS, DISTRICT 4 MINI CONFERENCE,AND EMS INSTRUCTOR WORKSHOPS.
