VISION CARE EYE CAMP( ABROAD) VISION CARE EYE CAMP (VCEC), FORMALY O0ERATED AS FREE EYE CAMP(FEC) PROGRAMS REPRESENT THE CORNERSTONE OF VISION CARE SERVICE'S INBERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER WORK. REGULARLY SCHEDULED VISION CARE EYE CAMP PROGRAM AND FREE EYE CAMP PROGRAMS TO PROVIDE SURGERY AND TREATMENT TO RESTORE EYE SIGHT TO LOCAL PATIENTS WHO NORMALLY HAVE LITTLE OR NO OPPORTUNITY FOR SPECIALIZED MEDICAL CARE. VISION CARE EYE CAMP(LA) VCS HAS BEEN PROVIDING FREE OPHTHALMOLOGY SEVICE IN LA AREA DUE TO THE MEDIAL CARE COST IN THE UNITED STATES IS HIGH AND MANY UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS, ESPECIALLY THOSE OF KOREAN, CAN NOT GET PROPER TREATMENT DUE TO LACK OF GOVERNMENT'S MEDICAL SUPPORT. MEDICAL SUPPORT FOR LOCAL EYE CLINICS TEACHING OPHTHALMIC MEDICAL SKILLS AND SHARING OPHTHALMIC RESEARCH THROUGH REGULARLY SCHEDULED VISION CARE OPHTHALMOLOGIST MEETINGS AT LOCAL EYE CLINICS ORGANIZING EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR OPHTHALMOLOGISTS FROM DEVELOPING COUNTIRIES THROUGH SEMINARS AND ON-SITE TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR EYE GLASS DONATIONS GATHERING AND DISTRIBUTING DONATED EYE GLASSES TO DEVELOPING COUNTIRES.
