NEXT HIRING AND TRAINING, ON AN ONGOING BASIS, INDIVIDUALS AS VIOLENCE INTERRUPTERS, OUTREACH WORKERS, AND OUTREACH WORKER SUPERVISORS, TO BE IN THE COMMUNITY DAILY AND COMMUNICATE WITH THE COMMUNITY, GANGS TO CURB AND TRY TO PREVENT VIOLENCE. VIOLENCE INTERRUPTERS, OUTREACH WORKERS AND OUTREACH WORKER SUPERVISORS WORK 5 DAYS A WEEK TO REDUCE VIOLENCE IN THE EASTSIDE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE CURE VIOLENCE INITIATIVE PROGRAM, AND ON CALL 24/7 ON A REGULAR BASIS TO RESPOND TO ANY VIOLENCE (I.E. SHOOTINGS, STABBINGS) IN THE COMMUNITY BY GANGS AND/OR ANY OTHER PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY, AND TO TRY TO PREVENT FURTHER RETALIATION BY FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, OR GANG ASSOCIATES. CONDUCT ON A QUARTERLY BASIS SPRECIAL EVENTS LIKE COOKOUTS FOR EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY TO COME AND PARTICIPATE IN, AND AT THE SAME TIME PROVIDE EDUCATION ON NON-VIOLENT WAYS TO RESOLVE CONFLICTS, AND TO SHOW THE COMMUNITY THEY HAVE A ADVOATE TO COME TO.
